“Get well soon, buddy.”

Brandon, Liz, Josh, and Cody have begun the countdown to the final episode, and they’re STARTING with listener emails! Right up front! How about that! Then, after the break, they cover the disappointment of Disenchantment, the redemption of No Man’s Sky, the horrible reality of “always listening” advertising, and young girls gleefully playing with unicorn poop.

Yeah. You heard me.

“Do you want us to describe Goku’s shirt again?”

Strap into those safety harnesses, JKPeers; it’s a three-hour roller coaster of emotions this week. Join Brandon, Josh, Tom, Liz and Cody as they discuss and digest this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, from the trailers to game lounges to surprise fireworks and beyond! Then, after a break, we take a moment to pay tribute to the corporate presidency, game development history and accomplished life of the late Satoru Iwata. Our final segment shifts the discussion back towards superheroics with some talk about Dragon Ball Super, CW’s The Flash and Batman: Arkham Knight.

Hall h right now after JJ invites everyone to a live STAR WARS concert. Kevin Smith is up next.

“I just wanna know which reddit thread that opinion came from.”

Hope you kids like anime, ’cause this week is chock full of the stuff. Pull up a chair as Brandon, Eric, Harrison and Cody discuss April Fools’ Day pranks, Facebook’s $2billion purchase of Oculus VR, some apparently very exciting Gundam news and the poorly-received reveal trailer for Michael Bay’s TMNT. Then, after the break, we celebrate indie games with some Goat Simulator, Luftrausers and Thomas Was Alone before diving into a post-run review of Kill La Kill (beware heavy spoilers!). Plus, as always: listener emails!

“I’m drinking and I’m new here.”

This week’s show finds Brandon, Eric, Josh and friend of the show/special guest Cody paying tribute to the late, great Harold Ramis. Things get nice and weird after that with a shift the possibly-secretly-being-considered sequel to Space Jam and comic artist John Campbell’s Marxist Kickstarter “meltdown.” Then, after the break, Brandon praises Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Josh revisits Dust: an Elysian Tail and Cody spreads some backroom gossip on Valve’s super secret VR headgear. Plus, as always, a few listener emails.

Hit the jump for all of this week’s related videos, images, and nonsense. Go on, you’re gonna need ’em.
