“Don’t do it, stupid!”

Are you kids ready to talk about Pokémon GO?? Great! So let’s talk about soda and fast food instead with Brandon, Josh, Tom and Liz! Then, after the break, you can enjoy further conversations about the Legend of Korra team’s new take on Voltron, a creepy indie game masterpiece named Inside, the best place to find old game shows with wide ties, and the fully-Kickstarted Cannon Busters animation project.

Oh, hey– and we finally catch up on over a month’s worth of listener emails!

“I dare you to kill me, God!”

JKPeer Tyler returns to the show this week to celebrate the Electronic Entertainment Expo with Brandon, Josh, Tom and Liz– but first he must sit through a bit of chatter regarding Warcraft, Angry Birds, X-Men and Independence Day: Resurgence. Then, after a quick $$$ ADVERTISEMENT $$$, the gang finally explores every week-old nook and cranny of E3. All the major streams and press conferences get their due in a whoppin’ 120-some-odd minutes of tempered expectations and good-natured ribbing.

Holy shit! Brandon went to E3!

Wish you were there? Well, now you can! You can be-were-there, sort of! Vicariously! Between working a kiosk and walking the floor, Brandon somehow convinced Harrison and Allegra to take a break from promoting Volpin Props and talk about their show highlights in-progress. Then, after a quick break, Brandon returns– LIVE from his hotel room– to share more about his trade show adventures at the week’s end.

“He gave you, like, the BEST thank you!”

Guess which lion-faced heartthrob is back from Japan! Brandon and Eric are joined by a second, auxiliary Eric– longtime listener Eric Jarman of Jarman Props— to bask in wide-eyed wonderment as Tom recounts his many adventures in Tokyo. Cat cafes! Surprise weddings! Gashapon! Panty vending machines! Regrets. Tom experienced all of this and much, much more.

Plus: we unleash a hefty amount of love for the officially released, final version of Overwatch and make a brief request to comic readers regarding Captain America.

Oh– and a listener email!

“Ze Libyans!”

This week’s show starts out sad as Brandon, Liz, Eric, Josh and Harrison bid farewell to comic book visionary Darwyn Cooke and, much less importantly, The Muppets and Disney Infinity. Then, after the break, we GUSH over Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, analyze Captain America: Civil War, vibrate with excitement for Overwatch and tackle some listener emails– including an attempt at explaining what a “Gwenpool” is.

“I understand we’re all shitting for the fun of shitting…”

Bill Doran of Punished Props (and our last few Dragon*Con panels) joins Brandon, Josh, Eric, Tom, Jen and his friendly rival Harrison for a rowdy group discussion about this year’s PAX East and SwarmCon highlights. Then, after the break, the gang dives into the end of Homestuck, Nintendo’s E3/Zelda/NX bombshell, and Alex St. John’s embarrassing baby tantrum aimed at “wage slaves” and “mouse pushers”.

Plus: a couple of listener emails!

“Please don’t confuse me with jerking off.”

Hope you guys like trailers, ’cause Brandon, Liz, Harrison and Tom are here to talk about a bunch of movies that aren’t even close to coming out yet. The Emoji Movie! Sausage Party! S.C.O.O.B.! Rogue One! Doctor Strange! Fantastic Beasts! A rather whitewashed Ghost in the Shell! Et cetera! Then, after the break, the gang talks about the Ratchet & Clank movie/game, Star Fox Zero, Miitomo and more. Plus: a return to listener emails!

“…and it’s almost as good as real buttons.”

What an eventful two weeks! My goodness! Best to get right to the jibber-jabber with Brandon, Josh and Tom as they tackle fake NX controllers, rumored PS4 upgrades, and a whole buttload of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (with plentiful spoilers, you betcha’). No listener emails this week, but hey– you can always pretend we got an email that specifically asked Brandon and Josh to talk FAR TOO MUCH about Batman and Superman!

P.S. – If you’re confused by this week’s intermission and closer music… good!

“Well, possibly how dare you!”

What smells like olives and pineapple? Why, it must be a VERY SPECIAL live episode of JKP! That’s right– we tempted fate and turned on the webcams for another recording– this time with pizza and pajamas, for some reason!

Grab a slice and slip on your jimmy-jams as Brandon, Liz, Josh, Tom and Harrison go to war over toppings before discussing last year’s Rise of the Tomb Raider and that whole “Hulk Hogan sued Gawker” thing. Then, after a pizza break, most of the gang returns for some lively chatter over Playstation VR, the trailers for the new Ghostbusters and Captain America: Civil War, and  last-minute stabs at Batman v. Superman. Plus: listener emails. Obviously.

Enjoy the video archive below if you love awkward silences and watching people eat!

“I thought you said there was Beef Mountain!”

In this week’s episode, Brandon, Eric and Liz will identify their favorite cartoon ducks and learn to accept carrots of all colors! They start with a breakdown of the latest Nintendo Direct, from Dreamland mechs to papery disappointments, then pull up their sleeves and really dive into the controversy surrounding the english localization of Fire Emblem Fates. After the break, they’ll learn how those mid-season fixes for The Muppets turned out and enjoy a great, big, SPOILER-FILLED Zootopia discussion. Oh yeah– and answer a few listener emails!

DUCKTALES - Disney's "DuckTales," an all-new animated comedy series based on the Emmy Award-winning series, will again star Disney's enduringly popular characters: Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Donald Duck. Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series is set to debut in 2017 on Disney XD. (Disney XD)
