“How long has it been since somebody got, uh, run over in a parking garage?”

SO much! There is so much and it is all happening! Thank goodness, thank the stars above that Brandon, Liz, Kyle, Josh and very special guest Orin from the Wrestling On Air podcast are here to cover it all, including Blizzcon, PlayStation at Paris Games Week, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Thor Ragnarok. Plus: a big ol’ pumpkin pail of belated Halloween-ish emails.

“Those are purple, right?”

My goodness, what a couple of weeks. Isn’t THAT becoming a tired phrase this year? Well, Brandon, Liz, Josh and Kyle are still here to tackle the closure of Visceral Games (makers of Dead Space and a highly anticipated Star Wars title that we’ll likely never see), a very exciting Black Panther trailer, a minute on Saw Garrera, and Josh’s FREE seminar on how to save the entire video game industry and make ALL the money. Then, after the break, Liz voices some last-minute hopes and fears for Nintendo’s Animal Crossing mobile game, that gang dissects Neogaf’s big ol’ collapse, and everyone has a really very sincere and concerned discussion about sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, the internet, and everywhere else. (Halloween emails are in but on hold, JKPeers; we had bigger fish to fry this episode.)

“Oh no, a wizard made my head big!”

Boy, it sure is October! How did that happen, eh? Well, you might as well join Brandon, Josh and Kyle as they break down the following: Sonic the Hedgehog comic book news, Marvel’s two big New York Comic Con oopsie-doodles (with one being FAR MORE OOPSIE than the other), a bunch of bullshit about that fucking McDonald’s szechuan sauce thing we’re all already sick of hearing about, a darling little kick-your-ass game you may have heard of called Cuphead (plus one real quick minute of A Hat in Time), and– just because you asked so nicely– a few listener emails.

“It is incredibly stupid. I loved it.”

You kids like lawsuits?? GREAT! Because, somehow, that’s the thread you end up with when Brandon, Josh, Liz and Kyle share recent security adventures, furrow brows at befuddling Sonic Forces sponsorships, marvel at Space Michael’s secret SEGA history, clap for Cuphead, muse over MORE Hiveswap, dissect the latest Amazon-funded version of The Tick, and stare directly into the sun that is Jaden Smith’s American anime passion project, Neo Yokio. Plus: a couple of listener emails!

“Fire cannot kill my bakes.”

Surprise surprise, it’s podcast surprise! Brandon, Liz and Kyle are here (after a brief hurricane delay) to provide the following: a first-hand account of the recent Muppets Take the Hollywood Bowl live show, musings on the current state of Rick and Morty, takes on the first chapter of the long-awaited Homestuck game Hiveswap, recaps of the last 1,000 years of Game of Thrones, thoughts on the vibe of the new-yet-familiar Great British Bake Off, and the many shirtless revelations on the latest Nintendo Direct. And a listener email, of course.

“Well, his friends had a funny joke idea… and then he did it.”

On this, the week of our Dragon Con (please come to our panel on Saturday!), returning guest Kyle joins Brandon and Josh to discuss clown adoptions, SNES Classic preorders, the dizzying narrative of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and what it’s like to marathon all of The Adventure Zone. Then, after the break, the trio settles back in to talk a bit about Joss Whedon’s… stuff… that he’s got goin’ on, then tumble way down a rabbit hole of superhero comics, My Hero Academia, overlong story arcs, the necessity of conspiracies and twists in modern-day episodic narratives, and more. Oh, and Overwatch stuff. And that crazy Half-Life 3 thing Marc Laidlaw did. Plus: a listener email! Just the one. It’s a good’n.

“We have a corn.”

BLT is BACK, baby. Join Brandon and Liz for brief sort-of-countdown to Sonic Mania’s release, then get comfy as Tom joins the table to discuss the debut of Disney XD’s new DuckTales, Nick Robinson’s dick pics, and begrudging yet inevitable addictions to The Adventure Zone.

“Are there listener emails too?” You bet your bottom dollar, buster. Great question, by the way. Thanks for asking.

“This is, by far, our loosest episode in recent memory.”

Crack open a Croix Boy and join Brandon, Zack, Liz, Josh and Tom as they bid farewell to June Foray, wish Andrea Romano a happy retirement, and ponder broken people who shake fists at editors with milkshakes. Then, after the break, the gang discusses Dunkirk, unloads on the first trailer for Ready Player One and braces for a live action TV adaptation of One Piece. There’s a bunch of other stuff, too. You know how this goes.

OH, and we answer a BUNCH of listener emails. Zack was so happy, you guys!

“I’m excited about that one!”

THE SHOW IS BACK (and so is Zack!) to catch up on everything we’ve missed these past few weeks. Brandon! Liz! Tom! ZACK!! Anime Expo! EVO! Wonder Woman (GENTLE SPOILERS)! Spider-Man: Homecoming (BIG TIME SPOILERS)! D23 news (including Kingdom Hearts, Disney parks, and more)! PLUS: shitty robots, lady doctors, and frog-related puppet firings. It’s an extra-beefy experience, listeners, so please– pace yourselves.

“He’s about to hyuck you up.”

Had enough of E3 2017 yet? Of course you haven’t! The show may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop listening to people describe the same video footage over and over! Brandon, Liz, Harrison, Emily, and special guest Eric (nope, not that Eric) are here to deliver exactly that as they discuss all of last week’s major reveals, trailers, hiccups, stutters, fumbles, touchdowns… uh, what were we talking about again? Is Pelé here? Wait, wrong football. Anyway: E3!
