JKP! Ep.257: Jazz Cabbage – Jump Kick Punch!

“We slam a Dew and talk about hot boys.”

BLT is back! This week’s episode starts off pretty heavy as Brandon, Liz and Tom take a somber and serious dive into Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale… then swiftly pivot into the rainbow-colored race tracks of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the current state of Nintendo Switch ownership. There’s more Persona 5, too! And some soda nonsense! And a bunch of listener emails! All right! Okay!

  1. Hi. Hello. I have not listened to the entire episode yet, but I paused it to request, nay, DEMAND a new JumpKickPunch video. The title? Thomas Does All The Dews: RITUAL DEWICIDE!!!

Thank you, I look forward to supporting the kickstarter for dew-related expenses.

Regarding Lee’s email about the first worst game ever purchased: It was a few days after Christmas and I had collected just enough money to buy a video game. My grandma drove me to Toys R Us and I picked up the little paper ticket for LJN’s X-Men. Being a huge X-Men comic fan as a kid I thought this was a sure bet for a great game. I got the game, played it for about 15 minutes and was just in pure shock over how bad it was. I couldn’t even tell which block was supposed to be which X-Man. I had my grandma bring me back to the store and I begged them to let me return it, just saying over and over that it was unplayable. Thankfully after the tears came out they let me exchange it for another game….but to this day X-Men goes down not only as the worst game I’ve bought, but also the worst game I’ve played…and I’ve played about 95% of the NES library.
