  2. Brandon, my first two thoughts when I saw the new designs were “Oh, tape like the new Ninja Turtles” and “Are they trying to do a Loonatics Unleashed thing with this?” WHY DO YOU THINK ALL MY THOUGHTS?

That said, I really dig all their designs. Lord knows they could do with some shaking up in the design aspect. Giving them unique builds/silhouettes is a good start. And the show teaser put a smile on my face. #optimism

I’m the Brad Pitt illusion inside your head and it turns out you’ve been hosting the podcast this whole time.

Hey kids, try new Sonic Boomberry!!! Delicious blueberry flavored rice clusters coated with boomtastic Pop Rocks is a Sonic Boom with every bite!!! It’s the only cereal that curdles your milk into extreme blue yogurt before your very eyes!!! Part of this balanced breakfast (Y’know, if you eat a whole bunch of fruit or something).

I do not like sonic but I appreciated this, it was funny and well produced. Please make more videos, some can be about not sonic stuff.

    Great video, Brandon. Yucks abound.

The preview actually makes me excited for this new show, even though I haven’t been a Sonic fan since the Genesis. I’m definitely going to make a point to tune in when it comes on.

Maybe it’s just me, but something bothers me about Sonic’s feet when he runs, they seem kinda slow and floppy. Is that how his feet have moved since he went to CG?

I did slow the footage down to 80% normal speed for the video, if that’s what you’re talking about. If you mean from the full-length preview, then that can probably be attributed to his longer beanpole legs now.

It was in the full preview in the one of the early shots of Sonic running head on. Maybe it’s his legs, maybe it’s the stride length, or maybe in my mind his lower half is a whirlwind of blue blurs. Everything else (all other animation, writing, and especially the dynamic camera work) feel solid, so I guess I’m just being picky.
