This is just too much pressure.
I’m going to bust out the graph paper and I’ll get back to you in a couple of days.

So I’ve emerged from my desk of decisions and I’ve concluded that the correct answer is monthly.
      That will be all.

  2. a 2 hour dose is good enough for me, as a monthly podcast would kill me

I think event based shows would be a good idea. It cuts down on episodes where there’s nothing really to say so Josh and Brandon just end up talking about homestuck the whole time. Also, the conversation will be better the emails can be focused on a topic and josh is stupid.

  4. I’m a fan of the monthly episodes. i could see it being a lot less stressful to organize, but in all honesty i’ll be content with whatever happens.

Question tho, will these side projects be making an appearance on JKP site? like i mean this place doesn’t necessarily have to be strictly dedicated to gaming and comic stuffs, and i’m sure it would be easier to reach out to an already existing audience than it would be to start anew. i know i’m interested in seeing what Brandon has in mind, and i’m sure a few of the other folk here are too. also i would hate to see this brilliant site fall by the wayside.

also, just watched the Pokemon black and white thing you guys did again, and that shit still cracks me up. if its more stuff like that or the jump man needle mouse stuff, i am super eager to see these side projects.

Can’t speak for any endeavors by the rest of the gang, but any and all of my personal side projects will certainly land here. JKP! was founded with the intention of becoming a home for the podcast AS WELL AS a catch-all for our personal creative nonsense, and I’m several years overdue on fulfilling that promise (mostly to myself).

      • sounds great. i can’t wait to see what you have lined up sir.

and i’m sure with enough pestering we can convince harrison to drop that silly little Volpin props side project of his over here. I mean who even looks at that site anyways. i’m sure he’ll generate more traffic for himself here then whatever he’s currently using.

    • I’ll be posting my Gundam stuff here most likely. I’d rather have people actually read it, for one.

  5. I went monthly, though I hope if ever there was huge news that exceptions could be made. Either way, that’s my vote.

A monthly dose of JKP would be just enough to keep me going.

Definite exceptions would be made for major events and releases! The default would be once per month, but that wouldn’t exclude some surprises and experiments.

  6. Monthly is the most likely way to get all the JKP crew in the same room every episode, which is magical.

    Cast your vote for Magic.

    Wheeeeeeee!

  7. Since daily wasn’t an option I went with monthly. To be honest as long as you guys don’t go the way of Retro Hunters then I’ll be happy with whatever you guys do.

    Cheers

  8. Where is the option I want to see?

DAILY: Brandon quits his job and spends all of his time in his basement endlessly toiling at creating free entertainment so that I have one more thing to waste time with while I’m at work. Topics include “Oh my god, I can no longer afford to eat,” and “A three hour interview with special guest Jo The Bunny.”

    Make it happen.

  9. Usually by tuesday I’m scratching my arm like a cracked out junkie, just wanting one more hit of jumping, kicking, and/or punching. Unfortunate as it is, a bi-weekly podcast is the best of the situation, IMHO.

  10. Theres no possibility of like an hour long weekly show? I guess I’ll need to learn to pace my JKP intake.

Just out of curiosity, is it the editing that takes up most of your time? Or is the editing + wrangling people in once a week that is the time consuming part?

    • From what I understand, a little bit of column A, little bit of column B.

  12. Which ever option wins, I think you all should take a nice long break from the podcast for your own sakes (mainly Brandon’s).
