“Can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?”

The gang’s all here! Things get predictably rowdy this week as Brandon, Tom, Josh, Zack and Harrison discuss technicolor Hulks, sexy Hawkeyes, baby superheroes, inspired fan creations, the slow death of television, and how to get fired from the Weather Channel through public urination. Then, after the break, Tom surprises us with some genuine praise for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and we tackle some A+ listener emails.

  1. to make things a bit more clear, plane tickets are expensive as hell, but what I was trying to say is, for a 800€, I get a return trip, the graphic card and processor are 700€ together so we are at about 1500€. here the same graphic card and processor are 600€ each, so when I added up everything, the difference was around a 100€+- and honestly, for that kind of money, I would gladly go buy it in the us.
also, I dont have that kind of money and am not crazy to buy a pc that powerful

    • You just need to find a national to buy the stuff you want and ship it to you. Thereby taking the cost of airfare out of the equation and replacing it with a more affordable shipping cost.

  2. “Chicken Jesus Agents” is a way better title for this episode

  3. It has been a long time since I paid attention to overseas shipping rates, but I’m not sure paying to have it shipped to the national then paying to have it shipped overseas will work out to a reduced shipping cost. Even if it did, it probably wouldn’t be enough to a) justify the increased shipping time caused by having it shipped twice and b)giving the retailer an out in case something became damaged during shipping.

Medical tourism is a thing maybe shopping tourism can be as well?

  4. hahaha i like how no matter what the e-mail asks, zacks metagame wins everytime.

just a note about the beer mile tho. if you run it fast enough, you don’t get drunk during the run. the last lap is the worst cause you just feel all the beer sloshing around in your stomach. you spend a lot of the last lap trying not to burp. me and my friends would play two games when we’d do a beer mile. the first game is the actual beer mile, then the second game is “chase the drunk”. this is where we set a destination to go to after we’ve completed the beer mile and we’d try to get there before the alcohol hits us. the destination is usually home, but always some place far away, and through lots traffic. I am not a smart man.

    • note, chase the drunk usually occurs on foot, or at most a bicycle, is super slow and often through childrens’ playgrounds. its a ton of fun, but super stupid.

      never do this.

      unless i’m there.

  5. Good news, Journey and Borderlands II did awesome at the VGA’s. Go get your golden keys! The only downside is that NFS won for best driver.
